In March, 2021 permanent rules authorizing Remote Online Notarizations (RON) went into effect in the state of Washington. INDELIBLE NOTARY SERVICES, LLC has expanded our service menu to include RON as a witnessing and notarization signing option that can be conducted from the safety and convenience of your home.

As with other WA state notarizations our representative will be able to provide the following services:
- take an acknowledgement or verification on oath/affirmation
- witnessing/attesting to a signature
- certifying or attesting to a copy
- certifying that an event has occurred or that an act has been performed

To start the online notarization you will be requested to send a copy of your document along with the Online Notary Request form as an email attachment to joann@indeliblenotary.com. Once received your document will be modified to include form fields in preparation for e-signatures. At completion of document editing you will be sent a conferencing invitation for the online signing appointment for the date and time you requested. You will also be sent a cost estimate document which you must sign and return prior to the meeting so that you know and accept/decline the full scope and cost of services before the conference date.

Remote Online Notarization (RON) can be conducted by a certified notary signing agent who holds the endorsement by their Secretary of State for remote and e-sign transactions. Such transactions can be conducted for anyone residing in any state in the union. Remote signed recording documents (such as deeds of trust and other property documents, etc.) are accepted for filing by government records offices in the United States and abroad.
Your online notarization will be conducted through a secure ZOOM platform meeting. Your notary host will be able to restrict or include others who can join the meeting such as other signers and/or witnesses. All signers will be verified by credential analysis (government issued ID), and document affiants additionally will be verified through knowledge based authentication (KBA). Signers can make appointments to sign documents at different times. If a document requires witness affidavit all signers, including witnesses, must be at the signing meeting at the same time. Once the signing is completed and reviewed document signer(s) will immediately receive a copy of the fully executed document. All meetings and document transfer will be handled through a secure, encrypted portal.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED FOR THE SIGNING
- You should conduct your signing meeting using a private computer or laptop
- You will need a smartphone to take and upload a picture of your ID for credential analysis
IS THERE A LIMIT TO DOCUMENT SIZE OR SIGNERS
- There is no limit to document size or number of documents you can notarize per meeting
- The number of signers or witnesses must be identified before the scheduled meeting but there is no limit to their number
WHAT IS THE COST AND HOW DO YOU PAY
- As with regular notarization, the fee is dependent on the number of notary seals required per document
- There is an additional fee for use of the remote service platform
- The basic RON transaction fee is $75.00, which includes document setup, SignIX /ZOOM platform scheduling and use and two notary seals
- More than two seals are at an additional cost to a maximum negotiated fee, depending on the size of the document
- All fees will be calculated and disclosed prior to scheduling any service(s)
- The website will be updated to take online payments
